About The Position
The Customer Service Rep provides friendly, positive service while taking and processing customer orders, addressing concerns, handling cash, and preparing Domino’s products. The role includes making pizzas, controlling food portions, maintaining hygiene and food safety, preparing food, and completing general cleaning and store upkeep. Team members receive in-store training and support from a manager or teammate. The position may be part-time or full-time and may offer opportunities for career growth within Domino’s.
Requirements
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders in person and over the phone.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
- Ability to make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills for taking and processing orders.
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands or fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
- Ability to perform the physical tasks described, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, bending, crouching, reaching, and continuous hand use.
- Ability to lift and handle deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a friendly, positive attitude and strong customer service skills.
- Take orders over the phone and in person; receive and process telephone orders.
- Address customer concerns and communicate with customers and co-workers to process orders.
- Handle cash and provide correct monetary change.
- Upsell products.
- Make high-quality pizzas and prepare food products.
- Maintain food and portion control, hygiene, and food safety.
- Operate store equipment.
- Stock ingredients and supplies from delivery areas to storage, work areas, and walk-in coolers.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and the facility, and perform general cleaning duties.
- Perform outside tasks such as removing trash.
- Unload and move deliveries, including carrying and stocking ingredients and supplies.
