About The Position

C&R Insurance is a locally owned, insurance agency seeking a reliable Customer Service Representative to join our in-office team. As a CSR, you will work in the office assisting customers with everyday insurance needs. The job includes processing payments, setting up new policies, making basic policy changes, and handling general office tasks. Requirements

  • Prior customer service and/or cashing-handling experience is helpful
  • Comfortable with repetitive, detailed-focused work
  • Basic math skills and attention to accuracy
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to follow establish processes
  • Ability to work independently and part of a small team
  • Comfortable using a computer for everyday tasks such as: Navigating folders, Organizing digital documents, Entering and updating information

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual (Navajo or Spanish)
  • Experience in a retail, banking, or insurance office setting.

Responsibilities

  • Assist walk in and phone customers with payments, policy updates and general questions
  • Process payments by cash and card with accuracy
  • Balance and maintain a cash drawer and related documentation
  • Set up new policies and make routine changes to existing policies (Vehicles, coverage updates, etc.)
  • Answer basic questions about policies and coverage using provided training and systems
  • Maintain organized customer records and keep accounts updated.
  • Complete general office tasks such as scanning, filing and data entry.
  • Follow company procedures and state insurance requirements.
