About The Position
The Customer Service Representative processes customer orders by phone and in person, prepares products, operates store equipment, stocks ingredients and supplies, and cleans equipment and the facility. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The role may be part-time or full-time, and the company describes opportunities for advancement into management and other roles. The position involves working in a pizza store, including a walk-in cooler and food preparation areas. Team members may encounter changing temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, hot surfaces and tools, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Work involves frequent standing and reaching, repetitive hand use, and occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, bending, crouching, or squatting.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to understand and provide correct written instructions.
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders by phone and in person.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, using a calculator if needed.
- Ability to make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, written, and telephone skills for taking and processing orders.
- Motor coordination to make precise movements quickly and accurately.
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
- Ability to perform the physical activities described, including standing, walking, reaching, handling tools and boxes, and lifting deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Operate store equipment.
- Stock ingredients and supplies from delivery areas to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
- Prepare products.
- Receive and process telephone orders and communicate with customers in person.
- Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
- Make and label boxes.
- Unload deliveries and move ingredients and supplies to storage areas.
- Perform outside tasks such as removing trash.
- Complete tasks such as changing prices on signs, washing walls, and performing maintenance when needed.
