About The Position

Lifetime Activities is looking for a part-time customer service representative for its location at the state-of-the-art Goldman Tennis Center located at Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, CA. Lifetime Activities is a successful, mature company with 30 years of experience managing and staffing tennis and recreational facilities. The ideal candidate possesses the ability to provide an exceptional customer service experience for the San Francisco tennis community by assisting with court reservations, racquet stringing, offering equipment recommendations, and basic class placement advice to a diverse clientele. Must be able to anticipate the needs of knowledgeable patrons as well as new customers seeking advice and guidance. The ideal candidate is a friendly, customer-focused individual who enjoys helping others and working in a positive team environment.

Requirements

  • Eager to learn
  • Computer (Mac OS, Office Suite, Internet, E-mail, CourtReserve - training available)

  • Point of sale and retail experience

Responsibilities

  • Conduct point of sale transactions
  • Help customers make court reservations and register for classes
  • Answer phones and provide information on programs and services
  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds
  • String racquets (training provided)
  • General cleaning/disinfecting of the pro-shop, courts, and restrooms
  • Must have reliable transportation
