About The Position
The Customer Service Representative takes and processes customer orders by phone and in person, prepares products, stocks ingredients, handles inventory and related paperwork, and helps clean equipment and the facility. The role includes operating store equipment and entering orders by computer keyboard or touch screen. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The position offers potential opportunities for advancement into management and other roles. The posting also describes delivery duties for team members assigned to driving, including delivering products and promotional materials. Those duties require a valid driver's license, access to an insured vehicle, navigation skills, and the ability to travel through varied delivery locations and terrain.
Requirements
- Must be 16 years of age or older.
- Ability to understand and give correct written instructions.
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers to process orders by phone and in person.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
- Ability to make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands or fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- For delivery duties: valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
- For delivery duties: access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
- For delivery duties: navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses in the designated delivery area.
- For delivery duties: ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings and private homes.
Responsibilities
- Operate store equipment.
- Stock ingredients from the delivery area into storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
- Prepare products.
- Receive and process telephone orders and communicate with customers in person.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
- For team members assigned to delivery: deliver products by car to customers' doors and deliver flyers and door hangers.
