About The Position

The Customer Service Rep supports store operations by serving customers and co-workers, processing orders, preparing products, and maintaining equipment and the facility. The role requires accurate order entry and communication by phone and in person, handling monetary transactions, and completing general store-team duties. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to understand and provide correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders by phone and in person.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands or fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
• Ability to work around varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions while taking out trash or performing other outdoor tasks.
• Ability to work in store temperatures ranging from 36 degrees in the cooler to 90 degrees or above in some work areas, and to cope with sudden temperature changes.
• Ability to work around food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped quarters including the walk-in cooler, hot surfaces and tools from ovens at up to 500 degrees or higher, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.

Responsibilities

• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from the delivery area in storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Communicate with customers and co-workers to process orders by phone and in person.
• Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Make correct monetary change.
