About The Position

As a Customer Service Manager, you will play a key role in driving client satisfaction, supporting field operations, and improving sales performance across multiple locations. This is a hands-on role that blends customer engagement, operational support, and execution to ensure service excellence and sustained growth.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of driving experience with a valid Non-CDL Class C driver’s license and clean record
  • 1–2 years of customer service or related experience; route, retail, or merchandising experience preferred
  • Ability to operate or learn material handling equipment (e.g., box trucks, handcarts)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel regularly to client sites
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. consistently
  • Customer-focused professional with a passion for delivering world-class service
  • Results-driven with strong retail, merchandising, and sales growth acumen
  • Hands-on and adaptable, comfortable supporting both strategy and field execution
  • Strong relationship builder who partners effectively with clients and internal teams

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular site visits to support client retention and ensure high levels of satisfaction
  • Assist branches with grand openings and new account launches
  • Ensure compliance with local and national account standards, including corporate reporting requirements
  • Develop and implement action plans to improve same-store sales and control operational costs (e.g., food waste, out-of-stocks)
  • Partner with local leadership to build and track account-level sales and profitability plans (Owner’s Business Plan)
  • Drive initiatives to improve customer retention and enhance the point-of-sale experience
  • Identify retail pricing opportunities, promote merchandising best practices, and introduce new products to increase revenue
  • Ensure compliance with merchandising standards across all locations
  • Evaluate performance through audit reports and Quarterly District Evaluations
  • Perform Route Driver responsibilities as needed, including delivering products, servicing equipment, and stocking vending and related machines
