Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, or Manufacturing
- Minimum of seven years of relevant operations experience
- Minimum of three years in plant management
- Strong knowledge of the food and meat industry, including understanding customer expectations, USDA regulations, OSHA guidelines, and environmental laws
- Proven track record of prioritizing employee safety and ensuring compliance with industry standards
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional sales and negotiation abilities
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to understand various grades, selections, and cuts of meat
- Physical strength and stamina (may involve some heavy lifting)
- Experience in either wholesale or retail meat sales
