About The Position

As a Customer Service Clerk, provide high-quality customer service in accordance with company standards and policies. Operate electronic scanning cash registers, receive payment for purchases, honor discounts and coupons, assist customers with Loyalty Program questions and sign-ups, and bag items. Operate machines to sell money orders and lottery tickets and transfer funds by wire; process returns; sell gift cards and lottery tickets; and handle other transactions as needed. Maintain cleanliness of the Customer Service Desk and store front area, replenish display stock, and comply with uniform and grooming policies. This is an entry-level position with advancement opportunity.

Requirements

• Prior customer service skills or related experience.
• Ability to operate electronic scanning cash registers and machines for counting money, wire transfer processing, and lottery.
• Ability to handle stressful and complex situations calmly and professionally.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions and communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a large team.
• Ability to provide regular and predictable attendance and comply with workplace conduct standards.

Responsibilities
