About The Position

As a Customer Service & Sales Associate, you will interact with Hertz rental car customers at the counter to process their rentals. You will consult with customers about the type of rental they need, including insurance and ancillary benefits or coverage. The role involves a variety of assignments and requires accuracy, helpful service, and tact when handling difficult situations.

Requirements

• Previous customer service experience and sales skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a variety of tasks.
• Professionalism, enthusiasm, and outstanding communication skills.
• Detail oriented.
• Computer literate.
• Proficiency in English.
• Valid and active driver's license; must be at least 20 years of age and have an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including holidays, weekends, and overtime as required.
• Ability to perform the physical and communication functions required for the role, including sitting, standing, walking, bending, twisting, climbing, driving, pushing, pulling, speaking, hearing, writing, lifting, seeing, and reading.
• Knowledge of operating a computer terminal, telephone, calculator, copy machine, and fax machine.

Responsibilities

• Qualify and process customer rentals accurately and in detail.
• Persuasively sell optional services.
• Process customer rental returns.
• Conduct vehicle service and maintenance.
