About The Position

The Customer Service Associate helps deliver a positive shopping experience by assisting customers, handling sales transactions, maintaining merchandise and store presentation, and supporting a safe and respectful environment. The role includes receiving and unloading merchandise, replenishing stock, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the store. Other duties may be assigned, and responsibilities may change in accordance with business needs.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Previous customer service experience in a retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
Ability to lift 30 to 50 pounds from floor level to above shoulder height and meet demands involving frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
Manage sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
Receive merchandise, help unload trucks, and replenish stock according to productivity standards.
Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment through professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
Clean and maintain the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out trash, and keeping all areas neat and presentable.
Perform other duties as assigned.
