About The Position

The Customer Service Associate helps deliver a great shopping experience by assisting customers, operating an assigned cash register, and supporting store operations. The role includes maintaining cash security and protecting company assets; stocking and recovering merchandise; receiving merchandise and helping unload trucks; replenishing stock in accordance with productivity standards; and maintaining a positive, safe, and respectful environment through professional, friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders. The associate is also responsible for keeping the store clean and presentable, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, and taking out trash. Other duties may be assigned. This is a part-time position at 8718 Highway 22, Dresden, Tennessee 38225-4348.

Requirements

Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
Ability to lift 30 to 50 pounds from floor to above shoulder height.
Ability to meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous customer service experience in a retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
Manage sales transactions while working an assigned cash register.
Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
Receive merchandise, help unload trucks, and replenish stock in accordance with productivity standards.
Promote a positive, safe, and respectful environment through professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
Maintain store cleanliness, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out trash, and keeping all areas neat and presentable.
Perform other duties as assigned.
