About The Position

The Customer Service Associate models and delivers a distinctive, delightful customer experience. The role registers sales at an assigned cash register and provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service. It also supports store operations, merchandising, inventory, photo services, online order pickup, and store maintenance while complying with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English, except in Puerto Rico.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Nice To Haves

Six months of experience in a retail environment is preferred.
Prior work experience with Walgreens is preferred.
Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English is preferred, except in Puerto Rico.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and patients, offer assistance with products and services, resolve customer issues, and answer questions.
Model and share customer service best practices, including courteous interpersonal habits and proactively identifying and meeting customer needs.
Recommend items for sale, trade-up items, and companion products.
Register purchases; collect cash and distribute change; process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed.
Keep counters and shelves clean and well merchandised; take inventory and maintain records.
Check in and price merchandise as required or as directed by the store manager or shift leader.
Follow company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss.
Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products, such as alcohol and tobacco.
Construct and maintain promotional, seasonal, super-structure, and sale displays; complete resets and revisions as directed.
Assist with separating food items and placing products according to policies and procedures.
Rotate consumable stock using the first-in, first-out method and restock outs.
Use store systems and equipment.
Provide photo-area customer service, including digital passport photos, poster printing, creative machine services, and suggestive selling of promotional photo products.
Monitor Picture Care Plus web pickup orders, pick items, and deliver orders to customers when they arrive at the store.
Help maintain a clean, neat, and orderly interior and exterior store.
Comply with company policies and procedures and maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.
Attend training and complete PPLs requested by the manager or assigned by corporate.
