About The Position

Models and delivers a distinctive, delightful customer experience by providing courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service. Registers sales on an assigned cash register and assists customers with products and services, resolving issues and answering questions. Supports store operations through merchandising, inventory, asset protection, compliance, photo services, web order pickup, and store maintenance. Attends training and completes assigned learning activities.

Requirements

Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English, except in Puerto Rico.
Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Nice To Haves

Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
Prefer fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English, except in Puerto Rico.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and patients, offer assistance with products and services, resolve issues, and answer questions.
Model customer service best practices, including courteous interpersonal habits and proactive assistance until customers are satisfied.
Provide courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service; recommend products, trade-up items, and companion items.
Register purchases, collect cash, provide change, and process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges.
Keep counters and shelves clean and well merchandised; take inventory and maintain records.
Check in and price merchandise as directed by the store manager or shift leader.
Follow asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss.
Comply with state and local laws regarding regulated products, including alcoholic beverages and tobacco products.
Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structure, and sale displays; complete resets and revisions as directed.
Assist with separation and placement of food items according to policies and procedures; rotate consumable stock using first in, first out and restock outs.
Maintain working knowledge of store systems and equipment.
Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photos, poster printing, creative machine services, and suggestive selling of promotional photo products.
Monitor and fulfill web pickup orders in Picture Care Plus and deliver orders to customers when they arrive at the store.
Assist with interior and exterior maintenance to maintain a clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance.
Follow company policies and procedures and maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.
Attend training and complete PPLs requested by the manager or assigned by corporate.
