About The Position

The Customer Service Assistant is the first point of contact for patients, families, and visitors at the parking facility. This role provides exceptional customer service, directs traffic, assists guests with parking needs, and ensures a smooth, safe, and welcoming experience.

Requirements

  • Customer service, parking operations, or a similar role preferred.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients, families, and visitors warmly and provide directions to parking areas and hospital entrances.
  • Assist guests with mobility challenges by directing them to designated parking and drop-off areas.
  • Offer support in English to ensure clear communication with all guests.
  • Monitor and direct vehicle traffic at entrances, exits, and drop-off zones to ensure a smooth and safe flow.
  • Enforce parking regulations and assist in maintaining an organized parking environment.
  • Report safety concerns, unauthorized vehicles, or suspicious activity to security personnel.
  • Help customers with parking validation, ticket machines, and payment processing when needed.
  • Provide information about parking rates, validation policies, and hospital shuttle services.
  • Address customer complaints or issues professionally and escalate concerns to management when necessary.
  • Assist in resolving minor vehicle issues, such as jump-starting a car or helping guests locate their parked vehicles.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area at parking and hospital entrances.
  • Support special events or high-traffic periods by managing parking logistics.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.
