About The Position

Beneva Insurance is seeking a Bilingual Customer Service Associate for a 12 month contract, to work in a call center environment, providing excellent customer service to clients both over the phone and written, in regards to their health and wellness claims. This position is temporary (Fixed Term) with one vacancy. The salary range is $53,590 - $66,987/year, which represents the expected hiring range and may not represent the full pay range. The salary offered may be higher than the posted range depending on relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Business Administration or a related field is an asset.
  • Have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in customer service and a call center environment.
  • Experience in the group health and dental insurance field is a strong asset.
  • Passionate about customer service and offering an outstanding service experience.
  • Excellent command of both written and oral English and French.
  • Availability to work flexible shifts from 8am to 8pm.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls from customers related, but not limited to their policies and technical issues while delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Resolve customer issues in a timely manner while maintaining our service level agreements.
  • Adjudicate health and wellness claims based on each groups guidelines.
  • Understand the various federal and provincial government health related programs in order to accurately answer requests and/or refer the insured to the appropriate resources.
  • Create, maintain and revise customer profiles and history.
  • Perform the necessary research to respond to various requests coming by phone, or written correspondence. This may include communicating and working with other departments in order to obtain the necessary information.
  • Regularly participates in continuous training to maintain and update their knowledge and making sure that the information provided to customers is accurate.
  • Interpret customer requests and needs in order to provide management with suggestions for improvement.
