About The Position

The Customer Sales Associate serves as a trusted advisor to customers visiting Trane Supply stores. The role helps customers resolve parts or equipment issues, provides high-quality parts and solutions in a timely manner, supports sales goals, and manages orders to promote smooth transactions and customer satisfaction. The associate stays current on Trane products, offerings, and promotions, and interacts with customers both by phone and in person. The position is on-site five days per week and may require overtime or weekend work as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Inside sales, retail, or related experience.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, with emphasis on customer service, continuous improvement, and safety.
• Demonstrated ability to build customer relationships and maintain professional customer service in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer support and identify effective ways to resolve problems and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Partner with customers to grow sales by identifying related products or add-on extensions.
• Process customer orders and respond to inquiries, questions, or complaints about Parts and Supply offerings; offer solutions that support customer satisfaction and future sales.
• Maintain current knowledge of Trane products, offerings, and promotions to provide a strong customer experience and drive sales.
• Interact with customers by phone and in person.
• Accurately execute quote and order management processes, including entering quotes and invoices and following through on fulfillment to support timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Assist with warehouse and inventory management as needed.
• Work overtime or weekends when required.
