About The Position

The Customer Sales Associate serves as a trusted advisor to customers visiting Trane Supply stores. The role helps customers resolve parts and equipment issues, identify suitable products and solutions, and receive high-quality parts in a timely manner. The associate maintains knowledge of Trane products, offerings, and promotions; supports sales goals; and manages quotes and orders accurately through fulfillment. The position also provides customer service by phone and in person and may assist with warehouse and inventory work.

Requirements

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Inside sales, retail, or related experience.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment emphasizing customer service, continuous improvement, and safety.
• Experience building customer relationships and maintaining professional customer service in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Support customers and determine the best way to resolve problems and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Build sales by identifying related products or add-on extensions that meet customers’ needs.
• Process customer orders and respond to inquiries, questions, and complaints about Parts and Supply offerings; offer solutions that support customer satisfaction and future sales.
• Keep current on Trane products, offerings, and promotions to provide a strong customer experience and drive sales.
• Interact with customers by phone and in person.
• Accurately execute quote and order management processes, including entering quotes and invoices and following through on fulfillment to support timely delivery.
• Assist with warehouse and inventory management work as needed.
• Work overtime or weekends as required.
