About The Position

Serve as the Customer Relations liaison to patrons during all events, focusing on excellent customer service. This role involves coordinating the distribution of the Infrared Listening System (ILS) and handling patron inquiries and issues.

Requirements

  • Possess current certification (or willingness to be trained) in CPR, AED and First Aid.
  • Ability to sit and stand, and maneuver around facilities.
  • Ability to talk and/or listen.
  • Ability to use computers, keyboards, telephones, and other office equipment.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to read a high volume of written materials and a computer screen.
  • Ability to coordinate several activities simultaneously.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations in a calm, professional manner.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for up to 4 hours.

Nice To Haves

  • College degree and 2-3 years of related experience and/or training preferred.
  • Experience in performing arts or entertainment a plus.
  • Bi-lingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to all patron questions and inquiries regarding The Bushnell and its policies.
  • Prepare and distribute Infrared Listening Systems (ILS) for all performances, and maintain and organize the ILS.
  • Handle patron issues, striving to resolve them with assistance from the Box Office and Front of House staff, and document issues with proper paperwork.
  • Prepare and report all ILS usage and deposits.
  • Assist with ticket scanning for latecomers.
  • Distribute literature including marketing materials, seating maps, information regarding the history of the hall, local restaurant/hospitality information, accessibility information, and other pertinent brochures.
  • Stay informed and educated on policy and procedural changes through attendance at mandatory quarterly Front of House meetings and regular e-mail communications.
  • Fulfill a scheduling requirement of at least two shifts per month.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
