About The Position

First Western Bank & Trust has a part-time opening for a Customer Relations Representative at the Minot Main Bank. This role involves establishing and developing relationships with new and current consumer and business customers to support sales and service objectives while adhering to the bank’s culture of customer service excellence.

Requirements

High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required
One year of banking experience preferred
Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
Must be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills, strong written and oral communication skills, active listening skills, and proven customer service skills
Must be detail oriented, able to work under minimal supervision, stay poised under pressure, manage multiple tasks at one time, and interact with co-workers and customers in a professional manner
Must have proficient spoken and written English language skills
Must have cash handling, general math, and computer skills

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers in person or on the phone in a timely, courteous, and professional manner
Properly identify each customer in accordance with bank policy and uphold confidentiality of customer and proprietary information
Establish solid relationships with new and current consumer and business customers through identifying needs, providing the best bank products and services for customer’s financial needs, and using cross-sell and referral opportunities
Open and manage consumer accounts including Individual Retirement Accounts; Health Savings Accounts; checking, savings, money market, certificates of deposit, and safe deposit accounts
Open and manage business accounts including checking, savings, money market, certificates of deposit, and safe deposit accounts
Assist customers with account maintenance; includes name changes, address changes, deposit product changes, and CD renewals, and signer changes for business accounts
Assist customers with debit card maintenance; includes create instant issue cards as needed, create disputes for erroneous transactions, apply limit changes, research transaction issues.
Assist customer with credit card maintenance; includes card issuance as needed, create disputes for erroneous transactions, research transaction issues, answer general questions, apply payments received
