About The Position

Tampa Honda is looking for a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Customer Relations Representative to serve as the first point of contact for our customers. While this role encompasses traditional receptionist responsibilities, it goes beyond the front desk by helping create an exceptional customer experience throughout the dealership. As a Customer Relations Representative, you will be customer-facing, assist multiple guests at once, manage inbound communications, and support dealership leadership in delivering outstanding service. This position plays a key role in maintaining the dealership's reputation and ensuring every customer receives a positive experience.

Requirements

  • Previous receptionist, customer service, administrative, or customer relations experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service mindset with a professional and positive attitude.
  • Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced dealership environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency.
  • Basic to intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to work effectively with customers and dealership staff.
  • Reliable attendance and flexibility to work nights and weekends.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record preferred.
  • High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers entering the showroom in a friendly, professional, and welcoming manner.
  • Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls promptly and accurately.
  • Take and distribute messages to the appropriate team members.
  • Page employees as requested by customers in person or over the phone.
  • Assist customers, sales staff, and service personnel with general inquiries.
  • Support customer-focused programs and initiatives that enhance the customer experience.
  • Assist management with monitoring and maintaining customer satisfaction standards.
  • Help ensure customer service processes and manufacturer-related customer satisfaction requirements are met.
  • Assist the Office Manager and General Manager with administrative and clerical duties as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area and showroom.
  • Utilize dealership systems and Microsoft Office applications to support daily operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support dealership operations.
  • Work a flexible part-time schedule, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
