About The Position

The Customer Rebates Representative follows established procedures and guidelines to provide timely and effective administrative support to the sales team, unit, or department for more complex activities related to rebates. In addition, the role conducts timely analysis and assists in visualizing the relationship between sales activities and business performance. This role helps to identify weak points and potential ways to improve efficiency to sales management.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 (one) year of experience within Finance, Controlling, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and/or Customer Service Management administrative roles

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or equivalent is preferred
• Proactive and innovative approach
• Experience with off-invoice contract pricing, rebate chargeback procedures, programs analysis or related fields strongly preferred but not required
• Experience with Office 365, SAP or another ERP tool is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Follow established guidelines or checklists to answer routine internal and customer enquiries
• Make simple calculations to accurately compile and report statistics
• May perform simple background research on customer accounts, prospects, competitors, and industry trends to support the sales team’s activities
• Enter data into databases or other computerized systems to maintain up-to-date customer records; to track the status of orders, deliveries, or activities; and to generate sales reports and statistics
• Assure timely processing of rebates from validation of sales data and rebate submission through reconciliation and final payment from the distributor
• Work with Distributors, Field Sales, and Revenue Management to measure performance of contracts
• Assure all appropriate policies, processes and audit controls are in place and enforced with internal and external parties
• Provide backup support to other functional areas in department, as needed
• Perform other projects and essential responsibilities as deemed necessary
