About The Position
Levin Furniture & Mattress is hiring a part-time Customer Pick-Up Clerk in Smithton, Pennsylvania. The role creates and preserves relationships of trust and loyalty during direct customer interactions, provides a high level of customer service, and assists customers with pickups at the distribution center. The clerk analyzes issues and offers timely, precise, innovative, and cost-effective solutions.
Requirements
- Must be available to work Saturdays.
Responsibilities
- Resolve customer complaints and questions while providing a high level of customer service.
- Negotiate alternative options with manufacturers on behalf of customers.
- Collaborate with stores, merchandising, and other operations departments to resolve issues quickly.
- Verify customer account balances for delivery and pickup orders and identify and correct discrepancies.
- Schedule delivery and service appointments.
- Prepare delivery manifests, warehouse support documentation, and inventory control labels.
- Maintain accurate inventory in Storis and Warehouse Management Systems.
- Prepare reports regarding delivery and repair service using the Storis system.
- Cover the CPU office at the distribution center.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
