About The Position

The Customer Marketing Manager will be responsible for activating 360 supports through brand specific and cross-branded initiatives, lead the development and execution of account specific sales activations that maximize brand growth.  The goal is to maximize accounts business by truly understanding the customer, and what activation will help drive consumer purchase behaviors. The Customer Marketing Manager will also fully own the overall channel and retail strategies, leading the category growth strategy.  This role will partner closely with marketing and sales ensuring to represent the customer strategic voice within marketing and the brand strategic voice within sales and customers.  This role will require depth of knowledge in sales and marketing and will need strategic linking data/insights from the brand and customer As our Customer Marketing Manager, you are responsible for liaising with our commercial teams and driving launch excellence as well as supporting our base business with a focus on our key retailers. The team consists of Trade Marketing Managers and Visual Merchandising managers working closely together with several departments such as Sales, Brand Marketing, Display, Finance, and Retail Media. Requirements

  • 5+ years of related trade / marketing experience
  • Undergraduate degree required.  MBA a plus
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Consumer Package Goods experience required
  • Must be autonomous, decisive, and a strategic thinker

Nice To Haves

  • Beauty experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead the brand execution for Drug/Mass account activations and manage interactions with cross functional teams (Field Sales, Forecasting, Marketing, Creative, Display, etc.)
  • Lead overall channel and retailer strategies for the brand
  • Have in depth understanding of account needs and driving solutions and opportunities to drive growth
  • Understand account promotional strategies and align programs to national brand strategy
  • Lead display creative briefs working with Display & Creative teams to develop account specific programs
  • Manage timing and execution of shopper marketing programs
  • Track and improve innovation and promotional activity of accounts
  • Manage go to market calendars, schedules and 360 marketing campaign plans for major launches
