AssembledSan Francisco, CA
$160,000 - $210,000Onsite

About The Position

Assembled is seeking a Senior Customer Marketing Manager to establish a program that transforms customer relationships into compelling stories, references, campaigns, and community engagement. This role will be the custodian of the customer's voice across Assembled, influencing everything from product launch announcements to sales conversations and website content. Operating within a dynamic and creative marketing team, the successful candidate will build customer marketing from its inception into a strategic initiative aimed at enhancing brand recognition and driving measurable revenue impact. The position involves close collaboration with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and the founding team, with opportunities to contribute to product launches, co-marketing initiatives with partners, and creator/influencer collaborations. Assembled is looking for an individual who is a fast mover, adept at leveraging AI for daily workflows, and values genuine ownership over a rigidly defined role. The company's growth trajectory is heavily reliant on customer advocacy, impactful stories, and customer-centric campaigns. This role is ideal for someone passionate about customers and dedicated to building marketing that places them at the forefront. This is an onsite position requiring a five-day work week (Monday–Friday) in either the San Francisco or New York City office.

  • Strong program-building capabilities, including the use of trackers, calendars, and follow-through, with meticulous attention to detail regarding agreements and approvals.
  • Proven ability to secure customer participation and approvals, including engaging with VPs of Support and their communications teams, and confidently interacting with senior CX leaders at global enterprises.
  • Demonstrated ability to build AI-powered workflows for synthesizing research, creating content, and establishing systems, with the skill to edit AI-generated content seamlessly.
  • Genuine curiosity about customers, understanding their motivations for purchasing, retention, and advocacy.
  • Adaptability and resourcefulness in dynamic environments where priorities may shift, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Design customer-centric campaigns, including lifecycle programs, events, and awards, to encourage customers to share their experiences.
  • Oversee advocacy and reference programs end-to-end to ensure Sales has readily available customer references.
  • Collaborate on product launches by integrating customer proof points into the narrative early and converting design partners into launch-day evidence.
  • Expand into partner and creator marketing by co-marketing with partners and building relationships with influential voices trusted by the target audience.
  • Report on program performance, including pipeline influence and key metrics such as stories in active use, references sourced, and advocacy participation.
