About The Position

As a Customer Experience Banker Non NMLS, you are a Financial Concierge for walk-in customers. You help retain and grow consumer and business customer relationships by proactively identifying financial goals and needs and recommending appropriate deposit and other banking products and services. You process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, balance daily, and provide exemplary customer service. Branch banking roles offer a welcoming and inclusive team environment where colleagues are empowered to help customers achieve financial goals and can share ideas that impact customers, the bank, and communities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of customer service experience or qualifying military service in administration, contracting, civil affairs, or a similar role; alternatively, a bachelor's degree.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of customer service experience in banking, financial services, or goal-driven retail sales.
• Cash handling skills.
• Comfort with technology such as mobile services and online banking services.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and effectively resolve customer issues.
• Understand consumer deposit products and educate customers about them.
• Proactively identify opportunities to grow customer relationships through a disciplined sales process, new customer follow-up program, outbound calling, and referrals from customers and partners.
• Educate customers and refer them to other areas of the bank to deepen relationships and build strong partnerships.
• Adhere to operational, security, risk, and regulatory policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate acumen in sales, customer service, relationship management, banking, communication, and presentation.
• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently and balance daily.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
