About The Position

As an Avis First Customer Experience Specialist, you are the front-line representative for premium customers, providing personalized service throughout the vehicle delivery and collection process. You coordinate logistics, communicate with customers about arrangements and special requests, and help ensure every interaction is welcoming, professional, and seamless. The position requires regular on-site presence in Arlington, Virginia, and cannot be performed remotely. Work may take place outdoors in all weather conditions and requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a customer service role, preferably in hospitality or car rental.
• Professional, friendly demeanor and a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Technological proficiency and comfort using various mobile devices.
• Valid driver’s license.
• At least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong multitasking and organizational skills.
• Flexibility to work various hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and continuously sit, stand, walk, enter and exit vehicles, drive a variety of automobiles, talk, hear/listen, and type.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a welcoming, professional, personalized customer experience.
• Deliver vehicles directly to customers.
• Coordinate timely vehicle delivery and collection with team members and management.
• Communicate with customers by phone, text, email, and app to confirm logistics, special requests, and meeting locations.
• Greet customers, open vehicle doors, assist with luggage, and provide an overview of the rental vehicle.
