About The Position

As a Customer Experience Banker Non NMLS, you serve as a Financial Concierge for walk-in customers. You retain and grow consumer and business customer relationships by proactively identifying financial goals and needs and recommending appropriate deposit and other banking products and services. You also process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, balance daily, and provide exemplary customer service. The role is based in an office branch environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of customer service experience, or military service in administration, contracting, civil affairs, or a similar role; alternatively, a bachelor's degree.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; the employer will not sponsor applicants for immigration benefits.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of customer service experience in banking, financial services, or goal-driven retail sales.
• Cash-handling skills.
• Comfort using technology such as mobile services and online banking services.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and effectively resolve customer issues.
• Understand consumer deposit products and educate customers about them.
• Identify opportunities to grow customer relationships through a disciplined sales process, a new-customer follow-up program, outbound calling, and referrals from customers and partners.
• Educate customers about and refer them to other areas of the bank to deepen relationships and build partnerships.
• Follow operational, security, risk, and regulatory policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate acumen in sales, customer service, relationship management, banking, communication, and presentation.
• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently and balance daily.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
