About The Position

As a Customer Experience Banker, you serve as a Financial Concierge for walk-in customers. You retain and grow consumer and business customer relationships by proactively identifying financial goals and needs, then recommending appropriate deposit, loan, and other banking products and services. You process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, provide exemplary customer service, and educate customers about bank products, services, and technology. The role is based in an office in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED and at least one year of customer service experience, or military service in administration, contracting, civil affairs, or a similar role; alternatively, a bachelor's degree.
Must complete additional background-check requirements, including providing fingerprints as required by NMLS regulations.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; the employer will not sponsor applicants for immigration benefits.

Nice To Haves

At least one year of customer service experience in banking, financial services, or goal-driven retail sales.
Cash-handling skills.
Comfort using technology such as mobile services and online banking.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service and effectively resolve customer issues.
Understand consumer deposit products and consumer lending, and educate customers about them.
Identify opportunities to grow customer relationships through a disciplined sales process, a new-customer follow-up program, outbound calling, and referrals from customers and partners.
Educate customers and refer them to other areas of the bank to deepen relationships and build partnerships.
Follow operational, security, risk, and regulatory policies and procedures.
Apply sales, customer service, relationship management, banking, consumer lending, business banking, business lending, communication, and presentation skills.
Perform other duties as assigned.
