Customer Experience Banker - NMLS-Crystal, MN
About The Position
As a Customer Experience Banker, you are a financial concierge for walk-in customers. You help retain and grow consumer and business customer relationships by identifying financial goals and needs and recommending appropriate deposit, loan, and other banking products and services. You also process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, provide exemplary customer service, and educate customers about bank products, services, and technology. The branch banking environment is described as welcoming and inclusive, with opportunities for colleagues to share ideas and influence outcomes for customers, the bank, and the community.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of customer service experience or military service in administration, contracting, civil affairs, or a similar role; alternatively, a bachelor's degree.
- Must provide fingerprints as required by NMLS regulations and meet additional background check requirements.
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; the employer will not sponsor applicants for immigration benefits.
- Demonstrated acumen in sales, customer service, relationship management, banking, consumer lending, business banking, business lending, communication, and presentation.
Nice To Haves
- At least 1 year of customer service experience in banking, financial services, or goal-driven retail sales.
- Cash-handling skills.
- Comfort with technology such as mobile services and online banking.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service and effectively resolve customer issues.
- Understand consumer deposit products and consumer lending, and educate customers about them.
- Identify opportunities to grow customer relationships through a disciplined sales process, a new-customer follow-up program, outbound calling, and referrals from customers and partners.
- Educate and refer customers to other areas of the bank to deepen relationships and build strong partnerships.
- Adhere to operational, security, risk, and regulatory policies and procedures.
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
