About The Position

As a Customer Experience Banker, you serve as a financial concierge for walk-in customers. You retain and grow consumer and business customer relationships by identifying financial goals and needs and recommending suitable deposit, loan, and other banking products and services. You also process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, deliver exemplary customer service, and educate customers about bank products, services, and technology. The role is based in an office workplace.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of customer service experience, or military service in administration, contracting, civil affairs, or a similar role; alternatively, a bachelor's degree.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; immigration sponsorship is not provided.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of customer service experience in banking, financial services, or goal-driven retail sales.
• Cash-handling skills.
• Comfort with technology such as mobile services and online banking services.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and effectively resolve customer issues.
• Understand and educate customers about consumer deposit products and consumer lending.
• Proactively identify opportunities to grow customer relationships through a disciplined sales process, a new-customer follow-up program, outbound calling, and referrals from customers and partners.
• Educate customers and refer them to other areas of the bank to deepen relationships and build partnerships.
• Adhere to operational, security, risk, and regulatory policies and procedures.
• Apply sales, customer service, relationship management, banking, consumer lending, business banking, business lending, communication, and presentation skills.
• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
