About The Position

As a Customer Experience Banker, you serve as a Financial Concierge for walk-in customers. You help retain and grow consumer and business customer relationships by identifying customers’ financial goals and needs and recommending appropriate deposit, loan, and other banking products and services. You process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, provide exemplary customer service, and educate customers about bank products, services, and technology. The position is office-based at the Belmar location in Lakewood, Colorado.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of customer service experience or military service in administration, contracting, civil affairs, or a similar role; alternatively, a bachelor's degree.
Provide fingerprints as required by NMLS regulations and meet additional background-check requirements.
Be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of customer service experience in banking, financial services, or goal-driven retail sales.
Cash-handling skills.
Comfort with technology, including mobile services and online banking.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service and effectively resolve customer issues.
Understand consumer deposit products and consumer lending, and educate customers about them.
Identify opportunities to grow customer relationships through a disciplined sales process, new-customer follow-up, outbound calling, and referrals from customers and partners.
Educate customers and refer them to other areas of the bank to deepen relationships and build partnerships.
Follow operational, security, risk, and regulatory policies and procedures.
Apply sales, customer service, relationship management, banking, consumer lending, business banking, business lending, communication, and presentation skills.
Perform other duties as assigned.
