Customer Experience Banker - Federal & Evans (Denver, CO) Spanish Bilingual
About The Position
As a Customer Experience Banker, you serve as a financial concierge for walk-in customers. You help retain and grow consumer and business customer relationships by identifying financial goals and needs and recommending appropriate deposit, loan, and other banking products and services. You process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, provide exemplary customer service, and educate customers about the bank’s products, services, and technology. The role is based in an office in Denver, Colorado, at the Federal & Evans location, and requires Spanish bilingual ability, as reflected in the job title.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED and at least one year of customer service experience or military service in administration, contracting, civil affairs, or a similar role; alternatively, a bachelor's degree.
- Must provide fingerprints if required under NMLS regulations and meet additional background-check requirements.
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; the employer will not sponsor applicants for immigration benefits.
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of customer service experience in banking, financial services, or goal-driven retail sales.
- Cash-handling skills.
- Comfort with technology such as mobile services and online banking services.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service and effectively resolve customer issues.
- Understand and educate customers on consumer deposit products and consumer lending.
- Proactively identify opportunities to grow customer relationships through a disciplined sales process, new-customer follow-up, outbound calling, and referrals from customers and partners.
- Educate customers and refer them to other areas of the bank to deepen relationships and build partnerships.
- Adhere to operational, security, risk, and regulatory policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate acumen in sales, customer service, relationship management, banking, consumer lending, business banking, business lending, communication, and presentation.
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
