Pepsi Bottling Ventures is seeking a Customer Development Specialist to join our team! We are jointly owned by Suntory and PepsiCo. We represent Suntory’s non-alcoholic beverage industry in the United States and have an 80-year plus legacy of providing PepsiCo products to the Carolinas and beyond. We make, sell, and distribute PepsiCo and other beverages. We do business in five states and sell PepsiCo beverages to most of the market in our geographic regions. We also develop our own line of beverages, producing and distributing a growing product line nationally. We have the exclusive rights to make, sell, and distribute directly to stores in our territory the world-renowned PepsiCo and Keurig Dr. Pepper beverages. These exclusive rights make up the vast majority of our business and cover certain counties across five states. We also create our own beverages, producing and distributing them to our customers’ warehouses nationally. And we make, sell, and distribute to our customers’ warehouses a growing portfolio of beverages nationally. These beverages make up a small, but growing part of our business. We bring you the beverages you love. We bring PepsiCo’s and Keurig Dr. Pepper’s beloved beverages and more to you and our customers. The Customer Development Specialist role is to complete and or coordinate all chain and wired account resets according to space to sales and company standards.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
Must have Direct Store Delivery knowledge and selling experience.
Basic computer skills are required.
Must have good oral and written communication skills.
Must have good math skills.
Must have good organizational skills.
Ability to work without direct supervision.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Must be able to meet PBV driving qualifications.
Must be able to adapt to changes and prioritize duties.

Nice To Haves

Beverage experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Resets accounts for space to sales and new product introductions.
Sells incremental space within the account to enhance sales.
Reviews store sales to ensure correct mix for space to sales.
Reviews and revises product sets so we have approved products in the locations.
Acquires or creates reset schedules to ensure we are at chain sets and other accounts are set to standards.
Orders inventory reset equipment and supplies necessary to complete the job.
Other duties as assigned.
