About The Position

Drees Homes is seeking a Customer Care Coordinator for its Midwest Region. This administrative position focuses on customer service and supporting the accurate processing of homeowner warranty and service needs. The role provides internal and external customer service, administrative and clerical support to the Customer Care team, and assistance to the operations team. It is not a call center position.

Requirements

• One to three years of previous office or administrative experience.
• High school degree required.
• Office work experience required.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Ability to address tense customer interactions appropriately.
• Upbeat, positive, can-do attitude.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and strong listening skills.
• Ability to follow through to a satisfactory conclusion.
• Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, and data entry.
• Organized, detail-minded, and adaptable.

Nice To Haves

• Associate or bachelor's degree.
• Previous experience in the homebuilding industry.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent internal and external customer service.
• Answer reception and customer service calls and determine the appropriate action.
• Provide administrative and clerical support for the Customer Care team.
• Prepare and maintain customer records, job files, and database tracking logs.
• Follow up with customers, subcontractors, and vendors as necessary.
• Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly reports.
• Assist the operations team with accounts payable.
• Perform other administrative and clerical duties.
