About The Position

This role sits inside 6 Routes. You'll be the person our RV and camper customers turn to when they need a real answer from someone who actually gets it. We're building a long-term seat for someone who already lives this, someone whose idea of a good weekend involves a hitch weight spreadsheet, a battery bank upgrade, or an argument about tank capacities. What matters is the RV knowledge, judgment, and problem-solving skills you already bring, not where you developed them. You'll start with hands-on training on our systems, tools, and processes, then build on the RV knowledge you already bring to become a trusted RV and camper expert. Right now, this role supports FortNine and 6 Routes, but as we keep building toward one platform for every enthusiast, that may change, and this role will grow with it. We're not a generic call centre. Everything at FortNine is done in-house, from our software to our warehouse operations, and we obsess over the customer experience. Our culture thrives on individual personalities and a strong work ethic. People genuinely love what they do here and are encouraged to lean into their strengths and quirks rather than fit into a mould.

Requirements

  • Real, lived RV/camper experience, recreational or professional. This is the non-negotiable one; tell us about your rig.
  • Bilingual: English & French, strong written and verbal skills.
  • Comfortable across multiple computer systems, and genuinely good at digging up answers online.
  • You're here to build something over years, not fill a gap over months. Strong performers see real advancement within 6-12 months.
  • Professional proficiency in English is required for this position, as the role involves regular communication with English-speaking customers outside Quebec, as well as the use of English-language documentation, tools, platforms, and systems.

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ year in e-commerce or customer service, preferred but not required if the RV expertise is there.

Responsibilities

  • Acting as the internal go-to for all things RV and camper: keeping our knowledge base sharp and partnering with other teams on strategy and improvements.
  • Advising customers by phone and email on order issues, including cancellations, modifications, shipping/billing inquiries, and post-order problems, plus RV and camper-specific questions about towing setups, hitch and brake controller compatibility, electrical and battery systems, plumbing and water management, accessories, maintenance, and common upgrades. (No sales targets, no retention quotas, and no high-pressure calls. Just genuinely helping people.)
  • Operating with real autonomy. We don't micromanage. If you know your stuff, we trust you to run with it. Our management cares and wants you to be your best self so you can serve our customers in the best way.
  • Moving fast and accurately across multiple systems without losing the details that matter.

Benefits

  • We’re located within a 5-minute walk from Du College metro (orange line). We also offer free parking, right on-site.
  • Health Insurance including medical, dental, vision and life.
  • Free unlimited healthy snacks and drinks.
  • Clean and newly built office environment with ergonomic workstations, and a work-from-home allocation for remote opportunities that you can use to improve your own space.
  • A team of energetic, respectful, and friendly coworkers.
  • A few more perks that we keep secret! (Though you can expect some fun events, company branded apparel, special deals on equipment, and a variety of fun opportunities!)
