Custom Fabricator / Metalworker

Harlequin Design New York IncTown of Oyster Bay, NY
$25 - $40Onsite

About The Position

Harlequin is looking for an experienced Custom Fabricator / Metalworker to join our production team at our Farmingdale, NY workshop. This is a hands-on, multidisciplinary fabrication position rather than a dedicated welding role. While strong metal fabrication and welding skills are important, our projects require a wide variety of materials, techniques, and fabrication methods. One week you may be fabricating and welding a custom steel structure, while the next may involve assembling a retail display, integrating LED lighting, building a scenic element, modifying an existing fixture, preparing components for installation, or helping solve an unusual fabrication challenge. We are looking for someone who enjoys this variety and has a broad range of practical fabrication skills. The ideal candidate is a problem-solving fabricator who can look at a drawing or finished design intent, understand how something needs to be built, and work with our technical and production teams to turn it into a high-quality finished product.
