About The Position

This position applies chemicals and fertilizer to fields from spring to fall. Applicators generally operate an assigned machine and communicate with the manager about product application, maintenance, and scheduled equipment maintenance. The role offers a fast-paced, hands-on environment where work varies from day to day.

Requirements

• Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Must have a good driving record.
• Must have or be willing to obtain an Applicator's License and CDL; Twin State will facilitate this.
• Willingness to be trained on equipment and maintenance procedures.

Nice To Haves

• Application or agricultural equipment experience is ideal, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in training activities to learn about products and the benefits of their use to farmers.
• Apply purchased fertilizer and pesticides in a timely and accurate manner.
• Ensure application equipment has the necessary safety equipment and that it is used at all times.
• Keep the location manager and team fully informed of operations.
• Help maintain the retail facility as time allows.
• Communicate with the manager regarding product application, equipment maintenance, and scheduled maintenance.
