About The Position

This position is responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure the school facilities are clean, safe, and orderly. The Custodian will maintain the cleanliness of assigned areas, including classrooms, restrooms, offices, and common areas. This role involves tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, trash removal, and sanitizing surfaces. The Custodian will also be responsible for minor repairs and reporting any maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel. This is a 12-month position with 7-hour workdays.

Requirements

• Must complete the entire three (3) year work history in the "Experience and Credentials" section of the application, including periods of unemployment, schooling, and volunteer work.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and floors.
• Empty trash receptacles and remove debris from assigned areas.
• Clean windows, walls, and other surfaces as needed.
• Perform minor maintenance and repair tasks.
• Report any maintenance or safety concerns to supervisors.
• Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
• Follow established safety procedures and guidelines.
