About The Position

Nature's Grace and Wellness is seeking a full-time facility custodian (Specialist II) to perform a variety of cleaning tasks and help keep the building maintained and in good condition. The candidate should have basic maintenance knowledge and cleaning experience and be self-motivated. The schedule is 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Requirements

• Ability to manage time efficiently.
• Ability to work well when supervisors are not present.
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds.
• Ability to handle basic maintenance, building repairs, cleaning, and other janitorial work.
• Ability to work safely with a variety of cleaning supplies.
• Ability to use basic cleaning equipment.
• Must be over 21.
• Must be able to pass a federal background check.
• Must be willing and able to wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Responsibilities

• Clean the building and keep it maintained and in good condition.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
• Wash walls.
• Clean and stock restrooms, locker rooms, and the break room.
• Wash dishes in the break room and kitchenette.
• Clean up spills using appropriate equipment.
• Perform minor repairs and notify the supervisor of major repairs.
• Collect and dispose of trash.
• Complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
• Keep cleaning supplies in stock.
• Maintain the outer premises, including shoveling snow and simple power washing.
