About The Position

The Custodian cleans and maintains public areas, including hallways, lobbies, stairways, and locker rooms. The role maintains assigned areas, removes trash and debris, handles property cleanup including bio-chemical material, stocks linen supplies, and loads and unloads linen carts. The Custodian also ensures preventative care of equipment and supplies and performs other duties as assigned by management. The shift is 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

Requirements

• Minimum age of 18.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods for the majority of the shift.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum one year of cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain public areas such as hallways, lobbies, stairways, and locker rooms.
• Maintain the cleanliness of assigned areas and pick up and remove trash and debris.
• Clean up property, including bio-chemical material.
• Stock linen supplies in linen closets and load and unload linen carts.
• Ensure preventative care of equipment and supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
