About The Position

Destination Pet is hiring a Custodian at Kings Crossing Animal Hospital. The custodian helps keep the facility clean, safe, and comfortable for pets, customers, and team members. Duties include cleaning play areas, including spraying down turf; cleaning up after pets; refreshing water bowls and beds; cleaning the parking lot, lobby, and bathrooms; and taking out trash. The role also involves monitoring supplies and reporting shortages or broken items, sharing helpful updates about pets’ stays, assisting teammates as needed, and greeting customers. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Positive, can-do attitude and professional demeanor.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to remain on one’s feet and move around throughout the day.
• Willingness to work around cleaning products, pet dander, and other realities of animal care.

• Animal care experience; training may be provided for candidates without it.

Responsibilities

• Keep play areas clean, including spraying down turf.
