Bather (Flexible Working Hours)
About The Position
Destination Pet is hiring a Bather at K9 Kampus to care for dogs and support the grooming team. The role involves bathing dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities, then drying, brushing, and preparing them for grooming appointments. After training, the Bather also trims nails and brushes teeth. The position includes helping groomers, taking dogs outside for potty breaks, maintaining a clean and sanitized salon, laundering and organizing towels, and notifying the front desk when pets are ready to go home. The Bather may also assist with check-ins and phone calls as needed, along with other assigned duties. This is a hands-on role that requires being on your feet for the duration of the shift and frequently standing, walking, and climbing stairs. The position requires lifting more than 50 pounds and availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Work involves exposure to cleaning supplies, pet hair, and animal accidents. Animal experience is a plus but is not required; training is provided for the right candidate.
Requirements

Responsibilities

- Blow dry, brush, and prepare dogs for grooming appointments.
