Dog Bather (Flexible Working Hours)
About The Position
Destination Pet is hiring a Dog Bather at Club Fetch to bathe and care for dogs and help keep the grooming salon running smoothly. This is an active, hands-on role involving dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. The position requires standing for the duration of shifts, frequent standing, walking, and stair climbing, and lifting more than 50 pounds. It also involves exposure to cleaning supplies, pet hair, and animal accidents. Availability on evenings, weekends, and holidays is required. Animal experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided to the right candidate. The ideal candidate is patient, positive, reliable, coachable, comfortable with pets, and able to work independently or with the grooming team. Familiarity with animal behavior, coat types, or grooming preparation is a bonus. The role also involves using phones, computers, and facility software.

Responsibilities
- Bathe dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities with kindness and care.
- Blow-dry, brush, and prepare dogs for grooming appointments.
- Trim nails and brush teeth after training.
- Assist groomers with tasks such as holding and fetching.
- Take dogs outside for potty breaks.
- Keep the salon clean, sanitized, and ready for guests.
- Wash, stack, and prepare towels.
- Notify the front desk when dogs are ready to go home.
- Help with check-ins or phone calls when needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
