About The Position
The Custodian is responsible for performing routine custodial duties in an assigned area to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment. This includes cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, classrooms, offices, and other facilities; emptying trash and recycling receptacles; sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors; dusting furniture and fixtures; and performing minor maintenance tasks as needed. The Custodian will also be responsible for stocking supplies, reporting any maintenance issues, and ensuring that all safety and security procedures are followed.
Requirements
- Must be able to perform routine custodial duties.
- Must be able to clean and sanitize facilities.
- Must be able to empty trash and recycling receptacles.
- Must be able to sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
- Must be able to dust furniture and fixtures.
- Must be able to perform minor maintenance tasks.
- Must be able to stock supplies.
- Must be able to report maintenance issues.
- Must be able to follow safety and security procedures.
- Must complete the entire three (3) year work history in the "Experience and Credentials" section of the application, including periods of unemployment, schooling, and volunteer work.
- Required documents must be attached at the time of application.
