About The Position
The Custodian maintains a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients, visitors, and staff at a facility. The role includes daily cleaning and disinfecting, restocking supplies, following safety and infection control protocols, and responding to housekeeping requests. The position is located in Tyler, Texas, and pays $15.50 per hour with weekly pay. The shift is 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, and weekend work is required during the first 90 days.
Requirements
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
- Able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Prior housekeeping, janitorial, or custodian experience.
Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect patient rooms, restrooms, hallways, and common areas daily.
- Restock supplies and maintain cleanliness standards throughout the facility.
- Follow safety and infection control protocols.
- Respond promptly to housekeeping requests from staff or supervisors.
