Custodian - Weekend AM/PM
About The Position
Verde Clean is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, team-focused Custodian to help maintain clean, safe, and welcoming facilities. The role involves cleaning and disinfecting facility surfaces and restrooms, restocking supplies, caring for floors, identifying and reporting safety hazards, and providing courteous assistance to staff, visitors, and team members. The schedule is Friday through Sunday, either 6:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m. or 6:00 p.m.–6:30 a.m. Pay is $16.50 per hour. Team members participate in daily stretch-and-flex sessions to support wellness and injury prevention.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to use cleaning equipment and knowledge of safety protocols.
- Ability to work independently and interact courteously with others.
- Ability to walk and stand, and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Comfort using basic cleaning tools and equipment.
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of janitorial or cleaning experience.
Responsibilities
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
- Wipe down desks, tables, counters, and other surfaces.
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors.
- Restock restroom essentials such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels; fill dispensers and monitor supplies throughout the facility.
- Identify safety hazards and report them to the supervisor.
- Help maintain a secure and safe environment for building occupants.
- Provide courteous and helpful assistance to staff, visitors, and fellow team members.
