About The Position

Verde Clean is hiring a Custodian to help maintain safe, clean, and welcoming facility environments while supporting the company’s commitment to sustainability and community impact. The role involves cleaning and maintaining facility spaces, replenishing supplies, removing trash, identifying safety or maintenance concerns, and providing professional service to staff, visitors, and team members. Custodians follow company standards and safety procedures and may work in restrooms, kitchens, outdoor areas, and other facility spaces. Two full-time schedules are listed: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM, or Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM.

Requirements

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout the shift.
Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 lbs.; occasionally up to 35 lbs.
Work in a variety of environments, including restrooms, kitchens, and outdoor areas.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of janitorial or cleaning experience preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience using cleaning equipment and products preferred.

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain restrooms, offices, common areas, and other facility spaces.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect surfaces.
Restock restroom and facility supplies, including soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
Remove trash and maintain cleanliness throughout the facility.
Identify and report safety hazards or maintenance concerns.
Provide friendly and professional service to staff, visitors, and team members.
Follow all safety procedures and company standards.
Operate cleaning equipment and move janitorial carts as needed.
Follow PPE and safety protocols.
