Responsibilities
- Keeping facilities fresh, clean, and safe
- Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and shining surfaces
- Taking out trash and recycling
- Restocking supplies and replacing wastebasket liners
- Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms (toilets, basins, urinals)
- Sweeping and damp mopping floors with disinfectant
- Spot cleaning soiled areas
- General cleaning of restrooms, offices, cafeteria, sales floor, and other assigned areas
- Stripping and waxing floors
- Performing wet floor care
- Using equipment such as scrubbers, extractors, and buffers
- Refilling restroom dispensers
- Performing assignments according to company schedule and customer expectations
- Performing all general required tasks as directed by Lead Custodian or Management
- Performing all tasks within proper safety guidelines
- Following all company policies and procedures regarding safety, customer service, and proper attire
