About The Position
Parkshore is a lakefront retirement community located in Seattle's picturesque Madison Park neighborhood. We are dedicated to our residents and passionate about our team, and we are currently growing. As a Transforming Age community, Parkshore is comprised of dedicated and caring people who have a strong desire to enrich the lives of older adults and our team members. This role is for someone who loves people, enjoys keeping communities neat and tidy, and wants to work with friendly people who want you to succeed!
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Basic understanding of English language to take direction and ask questions as needed.
- Friendly customer service skills.
- Completion of a background check. May also require drug screening, physical, TB test, and fingerprint per state/local guidelines.
Nice To Haves
- Ability to work a flexible schedule is highly preferred
- First aid certification may be required in some communities/affiliates per state/local guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Clean the common areas and other assigned areas.
- Works carefully, making sure to follow SDS, safety, and related regulations.
- Prepare and organizes materials and equipment, and prepares work site before beginning task.
- Keep common areas clean and orderly
- Report and responds to resident requests, and responds to any emergencies.
- Note any issues (grounds, building, other) and addresses with the relevant department if needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
